Dersachem is the last link in an industrial conglomerate integrated from seed production and cultivation of African palm, to processing and marketing of consumer products and raw materials for multiple applications for industries. This industrial conglomerate, with more than 60 years in the market and a presence in several countries in Latin America, is made by Indupalma companies and Palmeras de los Andes in the cultivation and processing of African palm, Grasco and Gracetales in production vegetables and margarines and oils, and Dersa in the production and marketing of products for household cleaners, especially bar soaps and detergents. Dersachem borns thanks to years of research, access to renewable and excellent quality raw materials and a large investment in new technologies in the field of surfactants. Due to its geographical location and cost structure, we can offer North, Central and South America and ecological tech products for different categories of household cleaners and personal care, among many other commodities.
Our vision is to develop and produce raw materials and tech plant primarily to help us protect the environment and provide significant improvements in performance and efficiency of the used products.
Indupalma Palmeras in Colombia and the Andes in Ecuador have been pioneers of cultivation in South America, processing and marketing palm oil and its derivatives. Today these two companies have planted more than 50,000 hectares and its local and international certifications, including the RSPO Certification counts attest to their high standards both in the cultivation and processing of palm oil and its environmental footprint and impact the communities where they are present.
Our five laboratories are available to our customers to provide high quality technical support. Each laboratory has a team of chemical analysts and experts are coordinated by a team of project engineers.
Our Analysis Laboratory serves characterization of raw materials and finished products through relevant physical and chemical analysis. To provide security for our customers, this laboratory practices are based on standard methodologies internationally and innovate constantly to expand our analysis portfolio.
Applications Laboratory aims to make all kinds of applications of our raw materials in complete formulations. Our customers can rely on the laboratory to develop new formulations, creating designs of experiments and standardize preparation processes.
Evaluation Laboratory is responsible for performing all tests and test type of challenge and comparison of effectiveness of formulas. Our laboratory has a series of semi-controlled, to evaluate products against its competitors or regarding standardized tests or techniques.
Assess the stability of our raw materials and finished products in time is paramount to assure our customers the highest quality of their projects and finished products. Our laboratory has numerous protocols that test and certify our developments even in the most extreme environments.
Sensory Laboratory equipment is the largest of the five laboratories to have a group of expert panelists who evaluate the organoleptic properties of the finished products.
